PCF8575 Module Description
havei/o pins run out? this powerful module allows users to expand to an extra 16 i/os with just two i/o controls! the pcf8575 is controlled via the i2c interface and has a 16-bit quasi-bidirectional input/output pin. on the on-board 3.3v level converter circuit, the pcf8575 has a level of 3.3v if the vcc-vdd pad is not welded.
if welded, the level will be the same as VCC
- library available: pcf8575
- operating voltage: 2.5-5.5v dc
- operating current: 100ma (max)
- i2c address: 0x20 (default), can be modified by welding a1 and a2 selection pads.
- 16 pins that can be addressed individually. each pin can be configured as an input or output
- open and error interrupt output pin for input change interrupts.
- ideal for uno r3 and other mcu control simple relays, buzzers, buttons, leds.
